Students will conclude the lesson in the story.

Lesson Formative Assessment

I will check for understanding and student achievement by having the students complete a google quiz based on the book.

Student Engagement and Inquiry

As a whole class we will read the book on the carpet
I will stop during certain parts of the book and ask the students questions
I will then tell the students to go back to their seats
The students will listen to a Voki
Voki
The Voki will tell the students what they will be doing next, which is creating a timeline of the story.
They will create their timeline on a worksheet I provide for them.
We will then go over their timelines as a whole group.
I will then show them how to get to the google quiz I created

I will then have the students each complete the google quiz and remind them that I will be looking at all of the quizzes

Closure

I will close this lesson by asking the students why it is important to tell the truth.
